Dr. Harisankar S. is an Assistant Professor by profession and holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Kerala. His research interests span Distribution Theory, Statistical Inference, Multivariate Analysis, and Statistical Modelling. He has over 12 years of professional experience combining academia and government service. This includes over three years of teaching as Assistant Professor at the Asian School of Business and St. Joseph University, Bengaluru, along with nine years of service in the Government sector, where he gained extensive applied knowledge in statistical analysis and modelling. His academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards, including the Prof. A. M. Mathai Best Ph.D. Thesis Award (National Level, 2022) instituted by the Prof. A. M. Mathai Endowment Fund, the Prof. R. N. Pillai Best Research Paper Award, and the Prof. Jacob Sundararaja Best Research Paper Award, both from the University of Kerala. He has also published widely in Scopus-indexed and reputed international and national journals and presented papers at major conferences.Dr. Harisankar has published extensively in Scopus-indexed and reputed international and national journals, and his work has been presented at leading conferences. His teaching interests include Distribution Theory, Inference, and Multivariate Statistics, Operations Research, Reliability Theory, Statistics for Managers, Sampling Theory while his research interests focus on the development of generalized statistical distributions and their applications.
