FPM Admission 2025

Director Message

Prof. Kishore Gopalakrishna Pillai

Established in 2008, Rajagiri Business School (RBS) is a leading B School in India, whose mission is to develop socially responsible and holistic leadership in a supportive learning environment. The School is managed by the Catholic order of priests called Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI).

RBS is the premiere B School located in Kochi, a major city that is witnessing rapid economic growth. The School’s location in the vicinity of Kochi’s Infopark and SmartCity Kochi provides a distinct advantage as it enables students to engage with and learn from industry professionals.

RBS is only a handful of B Schools in India with the prestigious AACSB accreditation. The School’s PGDM programme received EFMD accreditation in 2023. Currently, RBS is progressing towards BGA accreditation.

Following the footprints of the CMI founding father, St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a great visionary, educationalist and a social reformer of the 19th century Kerala, RBS is committed to developing globally competent and socially sensitive leaders. Our commitment to the society is enshrined in the core values that the School espouses: Service, Mutual respect, Integrity, Learning and Excellence (acronymised as SMILE). RBS is a member of the United Nations Principles in Responsible Management Education (UN PRME) and Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN), an initiative of Green TERRE Foundation, an NGO dedicated to combating climate change. The School has undertaken several measures towards achieving carbon neutrality.

Our actions are guided by clear thinking as to how we can contribute towards nation building while addressing the evolving demands of the industry. The investments in our fine infrastructure are motivated by the desire to enhance the quality of the management education while improving access and inclusion. Our recent advances in management development programmes and success of our students and alumni bear testimony to our drive to excel and grow.

Internationalisation is a key area of focus for the School. The International Teaching Week (ITW), provides an opportunity for our students to learn from professors from abroad. Partnerships with prestigious schools enable students to pursue a term or a year of study abroad. This is an area where we expect exciting development in the near future.

Research is central to who we are at RBS. The School is on the upward trajectory on quality and quantity of research outputs. Our fledgling FPM programme is attracting the attention of the research community. The fast-changing business environment and the unpredictability fuelled by the tectonic shifts in technology demand close, continued scrutiny and it is our hope that RBS is in the forefront of knowledge creation and dissemination.

These are truly exciting times at RBS. We welcome you to join our community of socially committed, responsible leaders, professors, staff and students.
